Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers (IVC) is a non-profit organization established in 1996 and originally organized by local faith communities.

We serve Bainbridge Island residents and some off-island residents. All services are provided free of charge. You do not have to be part of a faith community to receive these services.

Some of our care receivers are:
• Elderly people who want to continue to live in their homes and need help with routine activities they can no longer manage on their own.

• People who may be recovering from a medical condition or a mental or emotional stress and need temporary help with their day-to-day living.

• Over-burdened family caregivers who need a break for a few hours from stressful responsibilities.

• People who live in skilled nursing facilities and need consistent companionship and emotional support.

Serving the community since 1996
